Hedi Kyle’s folded book structures ‒ workshop at KKV Grafik
Sunday 22.4 1‒4 pm
KKV Grafik, Västmanlandsgatan 3, 5th floor, Malmö
In this workshop you will learn to fold three of Hedi Kyle’s innovative
book models ‒ the Pocketfold, the Blizzard book and the Crown binding.
These are structures that through just folding ‒ no glue ‒ can be used
as container for loose sheets of paper. Pre cut material will be used
and tools will be available to borrow. If, however ‒ you have your own
bonefolder, please bring it.
Workshop leader is Eva Hejdström, who is an artist and bookbinder.
She has learnt several of Hedi Kyle’s folded structures from bookbinders
who has studied with Hedi Kyle herself.
This workshop will be delivered in English.
